KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Anna Anderson of No. 1 Ottawa University was named the NAIA Women's Flag Football Offensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. On Monday, Anderson was named the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive Player of the Week. In both instances, she was selected for her performances from March 2-8.
O'Mariah Gordon of Warner (Fla.) was this week's NAIA Women's Flag Football Defensive Player of the Week.

Playing only a game and a half last week, Anderson was 44-for-51 through the air for 486 yards and 10 touchdowns. She played the first half only against Bethel College. Anderson completed 86.2 percent of her passes on the week, 82.3 percent against Bethel and 88.2 percent versus (RV) Southwestern. She also rushed six times for 49 yards. In the first half against Bethel, Anderson was 14-for-17 for 234 yards and five touchdowns. In OU's 43-0 win over (RV) Southwestern, Anderson was 30-for-34 for 252 yards and five touchdowns.
