KANSAS — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) will conduct a virtual media day for the 2026 women's flag football season, the conference office announced Tuesday. The event will take place Wednesday, February 18, starting at 1 PM CST. The 2026 KCAC Women's Flag Football Virtual Media Day is presented by
IMA Financial Group.
The format of the event will change for the 2025-26 season. Instead of a live event conducted on social media, as has been the tradition the past several years, interviews with coaches will be pre-recorded and released at 20-minute intervals throughout the day, and will be available to view on the Urban Edge Network (UEN). UEN "Upcoming" Schedule page, not the KCAC page. Any media-type broadcasts go through the general UEN portion of their platform.
The interviews for the 2026 KCAC Women's Flag Football Virtual Media Day were conducted by Cory Thorpe of NAIAFBall, an independent media outlet covering NAIA Football and Women's Flag Football. NAIAFBall is the largest independent media outlet covering NAIA Football, currently operated by Thorpe and Matt Schwaerzler.
