KANSAS — Anna Anderson and Dejonice Parris, both of No. 1 Ottawa University, have earned the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 2-8 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Playing only a game and a half last week, Anderson was 44-for-51 through the air for 486 yards and 10 touchdowns. She played the first half only against Bethel College. Anderson completed 86.2 percent of her passes on the week, 82.3 percent against Bethel and 88.2 percent versus (RV) Southwestern. She also rushed six times for 49 yards. In the first half against Bethel, Anderson was 14-for-17 for 234 yards and five touchdowns. In OU's 43-0 win over (RV) Southwestern, Anderson was 30-for-34 for 252 yards and five touchdowns.

In two games last week, only playing one half against Bethel College, Parris had 21 flag pulls (seven versus Bethel and 14 against (RV) Southwestern). She broke a school record for flag pulls in a game with 14 against (RV) Southwestern. Parris also had a pick six in OU's 43-0 win over (RV) Southwestern College on Saturday.
