KANSAS — Tahmya Squire of Cottey College and Andrea Moon of (RV) Southwestern College have earned the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Feb. 23-March 1 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Squire averaged 14.8 yards per catch while pulling down nine catches for 133 yards and four receiving touchdowns. She tallied four of the Comets' seven total touchdowns in a 47-0 victory over Bethel.

Moon played a key role on defense in Southwestern College’s 7–0 win over William Woods on Feb. 28, in a game where points were at a premium. Moon led a defensive unit that posted a shutout, recording six total tackles. She totaled three tackles for loss for 24 yards, consistently disrupting the backfield and forcing negative plays. She also added one pass breakup. Her pressure off the edge was a decisive factor in preserving the shutout.
