WICHITA, Kan. — Justin Bay of Morningside University and Taya Swarts of the University of Saint Mary were named the KCAC Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Month, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. Both student-athletes were selected for their performances from Dec. 10-Jan. 27 by a vote of conference Sports Information Directors. All KCAC Player of the Week and Swimmer of the Month honors are presented by
Equity Bank.

Bay set a new Morningside record in the 100-yard breaststroke, as he hit the provisional qualifying standard in the event. Earlier in the day, he hit another Provisional/"B" standard in the 50-yard freestyle, coming in second only to his own teammate.

Swarts took home a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle and a second-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in a dual against William Jewell, and then followed that up with a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle in a dual against Rockhurst.
