Smith and Harrison Earn KCAC Swimming & Diving Biweekly Honors

KANSAS — Titus Smith of Aquinas College (Mich.) and Jaylyn Harrison of Bethel University (Ind.) were named the KCAC Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Week, respectively, the conference office announced Wednesday. Despite its name, this award covers a two-week period, in order to match with the NAIA swimming & diving biweekly honors. Both student-athletes were selected for their performances from Nov. 10-Nov. 23 by a vote of conference Sports Information Directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.

In a very talented meet with many elite athletes, Smith was able to take 2nd in the 100 back and 3rd in the 200 back, both with NAIA "B," or Provisional, qualifying cut times.

Harrison helped the Pilots to a first place finish in the 200 Free Relay, smashing through the qualifying time of 1:38.63. Harrison alongside Nuet, Wardle, and Recchioni broke a Bethel University school record for that event. Harrison also earned an NAIA B Cut for the 50 Free.
