KANSAS — Stan Tibben of Aquinas College (Mich.) and Brisa Mills of Midland University (Neb.) were named the KCAC Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Week, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. Despite its name, this award covers a two-week period, in order to match with the NAIA swimming & diving biweekly honors. Both student-athletes were selected for their performances from Oct. 13-Oct. 26 by a vote of conference Sports Information Directors.

Tibben put on a great performance as the Saints battled Davenport (Mich.) in a dual on Saturday. He took home the individual title in the 100 yard butterfly, while also hitting the NAIA "B", or provisional, qualifying mark in that event. He also took home a second-place finish in the 200 yard butterfly, and a second-place finish as part of the 200-yard medley relay.

Mills, a freshman from Belleville, Illinois, won the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 100 backstroke while also helping Midland to a runner-up finish in the 400 free relay in its dual with Minnesota-Morris. Her times in the 100 freestyle and the 100 backstroke set new personal bests.
