Oklahoma Wesleyan Sweeps KCAC Women's Soccer Weekly Honors

KANSAS — Frederikke Nielsen and Leona Kraus, both of No. 14 Oklahoma Wesleyan University, have earned this week's KCAC Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Aug. 31-Sept. 6 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.
 
 

Offensive Player of the Week

Frederikke Nielsen - #14 Oklahoma Wesleyan University

Sr. | MF | Randers, Denmark

Nielsen had a standout performance against Missouri Valley University, scoring on or assisting with three of the Eagles' four goals as OKWU won 4-1.

Leona Kraus - #14 Oklahoma Wesleyan University

Jr. | GK | Dehrn, Germany

Kraus held Missouri Valley to only one goal on seven shots as the Eagles picked up a 4-1 win.
