KANSAS — Isabelle Simoneau of No. 15 Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Paige Putter of Friends University have earned this week's KCAC Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Sept. 14-20 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Isabelle Simoneau - #15 Oklahoma Wesleyan University

Simoneau was a key contributor in both of Oklahoma Wesleyan's wins last week, as the Eagles went 2-0 in conference play. She scored two goals in the team's 6-0 victory over Evagnel, and followed that up by chipping in a goal in her team's 5-0 win over Sterling.

Defensive Player of the Week
Paige Putter - Friends University
Sr. | D/MF | Maize, Kan.
Putter was the driving force defensively behind a pair of Friends University Falcon victories to open the KCAC season, including a 1-0 shutout win at Southwestern College. Putter also scored a goal in the Falcons' 2-1 win at Kansas Wesleyan University in addition to her defensive prowess. Putter has been a main contributor in the Falcons posting four shutouts this season.
