KANSAS — Thalen Wright of (RV) Kansas Wesleyan University and Evan Jno-Baptiste of Evangel University have earned the KCAC Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Feb. 23-March 1 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Athletic Solutions.

Grad. | RHP | Kansas City, Mo.
Wright pitched a masterful game in KWU's 6-0 win over Saint Mary. He went eight innings and scattered three hits while striking out 11. He had a WHIP of 0.63 for the game.

Baptiste had a strong week for Evangel at the plate, going 10-18 (.556) with eight runs and six RBIs, blasting three home runs while stealing three bases. He also was perfect from center field, going 16-16 on chances for putouts.
