KANSAS — Wyatt Johnson of Kansas Wesleyan University and Lamar Gordon of McPherson College have earned the KCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Feb. 9-15 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Track Athlete of the Week
Wyatt Johnson - Kansas Wesleyan University
Jr. | Lindsborg, Kan.
Johnson picked up first-place finishes in three different events at the 2026 KCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships: the 800m, 1000m, and the 4x800m Relay. He was also a part of a second-place finish in the 4x400m. Johnson was named the KCAC Male Indoor Track Athlete of the Meet. This marks the third time this season Johnson has been named the KCAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Field Athlete of the Week
Lamar Gordon - McPherson College
Jr. | Fayetteville, Ga.
Gordon had a succesfful trip to the KCAC Championships, with a mark of 15.72m in the Shot Put, which was good enough for 1st place, while his weight throw finished second place with a distance of 18.42m. Lamar is currently ranked 2nd in the KCAC and 10th in the NAIA in the Weight Throw.
