KANSAS — Wyatt Johnson of Kansas Wesleyan University and Cedric Wilson of Sterling College have earned the KCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Jan. 12-18 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Track Athlete of the Week
Wyatt Johnson - Kansas Wesleyan University
Jr. | Lindsborg, Kan.
Johnson's time in the mile (4:16.47) at the Washburn Rust Buster ranks third all-time at KWU in that event. He currently has the 12th-fastest NAIA performance in the mile this season, and ranks second in the KCAC in the event. At the Washburn Rust Buster, he was the top NAIA and KCAC finisher out of 102 competitors.
Field Athlete of the Week
Cedric Wilson - Sterling College
Jr. | Sterling, Kan.
Cedric Wilson had a standout meet in his season debut at the Washburn Rust Buster, finishing third in the open high jump with a school-record 1.99m (6-6.25). His clearance was five centimeters away from the NAIA "B" qualifying standard and was better than any other NAIA competitor in the open division.
