KANSAS — Anthony Shivers and Peyton Ligon, both of Evangel University, have earned the KCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Dec. 8-14 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Athletic Solutions.

Anthony Shivers - Evangel University
Jr. | Mexico, Mo.
Shivers ran well on Friday, placing first in the 200 meter dash and 3rd in the 60 meter dash, running a 22.50 and a 7.02, respectively.

Ligon nearly hit the NAIA "B" qualifying standard (2.04m for Men's High Jump) at the Husker Holiday Classic, recording a high jump of 2.03 meters, finishing third overall, behind a pair of NCAA Div. I competitors from the University of Nebraska.
