KANSAS — Korbin Gunn of McPherson College and Temaje Izuagbe of No. 6 Oklahoma Wesleyan University have earned the KCAC Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Jan. 5-11 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.

Offensive Player of the Week

Korbin Gunn - McPherson College

6-0 | Fr. | G | Tulsa, Okla.

The freshman was lights out this past week for McPherson. In two victories this week, including an overtime victory over York, Gunn averaged 27 points shooting nearly 50% for the week. Although his game-high this week was 30 points against York, Gunn came to life against Southwestern; it almost seemed like he couldn't miss going 5 of 8 from beyond the arc and contributed four assists, accompanied by five rebounds. This marks the third KCAC Men's Basketball weekly honor for Gunn on the season.
