KANSAS — Jalil Brown of No. 21 McPherson College, Kasey Lehman of No. 4 Friends University, and Joe Smyth of No. 18 Southwestern College have earned this week's KCAC Football Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The three student-athletes were selected for their performances from Oct. 27-Nov. 2 by a vote of conference sports information directors.
Offensive Player of the Week
Jalil Brown - #21 McPherson College
5-10 | 175 lbs. | R-Jr. | RB | Seagoville, Texas
Brown had 45 carries for 274 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 6.1 yards per carry with a long of 41 yards in Saturday's win over Southwestern. This marks the second time this season Brown has been named the KCAC Football Offensive Player of the Week.

Defensive Player of the Week
Kasey Lehman - #4 Friends University
6-0 | 180 lbs. | So. | DB | Fayetteville, Ark.
Lehman hauled in two interceptions for the No. 4-ranked Friends University Falcons in a 63-6 victory over (RV) Kansas Wesleyan University Saturday (Nov. 1) at Equity Bank Park, including an 80-yard pick six on the Coyotes' first possession of the second half. Lehman now has three interceptions on the season along with 19 tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack.
