2024 KCAC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Selections Announced

WICHITA, Kan. — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) is pleased to announce the 2024 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference teams and individual award winners. These honors were voted on by the women's lacrosse head coaches.

Missouri Baptist University took home the regular season conference title with a perfect 4-0 record in conference play.

The Spartans took home two individual awards, as Lydia Cornett was named the KCAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year and Amelia Shaw was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year.

Cornett tallied 100 points on the season, including 54 goals and 46 assists. Cornett ranks first in the conference in points, first in assists, and second in goals. Shaw ranked first in the KCAC in goals-against average (7.10), first in save percentage (52.9%), and second in saves (99). Shaw's save percentage rankes second in the NAIA.

Mackenzie Simmons of Ottawa University earned the KCAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year honor for the second consecutive season. Simmons ranked first in the KCAC in goals (88) and second in total points (94). 

Ashley Reid of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy was named the KCAC Women's Lacrosse Coach of the Year by her peers.
