WICHITA, Kan. — This week's KCAC "Road to Hartman" Doubleheader of the Week, presented by ESPN Wichita 92.3, will be the women's and men's basketball games between Kansas Wesleyan University and the University of Saint Mary on Wednesday, February 14, the conference office announced Tuesday. The women's game will tip off at 6 PM CST, with the men's to follow at 8 PM CST.
In its second year, this series highlights KCAC teams throughout conference play with radio broadcasts on ESPN Wichita 92.3 FM, as teams aim to make it to the KCAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championship finals at Hartman Arena on March 4, 2024. Pat Strathman, the Sports Director of ESPN Wichita 92.3 FM, will be on the call for these broadcasts.
The Kansas Wesleyan women's basketball team currently holds a 13-10 overall record, including a 11-6 record in the KCAC. That record in conference play places the Coyotes at No. 4 in the KCAC Women's Basketball standings. Kansas Wesleyan will be looking to extend a three-game winning streak. The Coyotes' last game was on Feb. 7 against Bethany College, in which Kansas Wesleyan came away with a narrow victory by a score of 57-56.
The Saint Mary women's basketball team is 19-5 overall so far on the season, with a 16-2 mark in conference play. The Spires are currently tied for second place in the conference standings with Friends University. The Spires' last game was against Friends on Saturday in Wichita, in which the Spires fell 61-54 to the Falcons.
The two teams have met once already this season, on Dec. 9 in Salina. The Spires won that matchup 59-55.

That record in conference play places the Coyotes at No. 3 in the KCAC Men's Basketball standings. Kansas Wesleyan will be looking to extend their winning streak, having won two games in a row. The Coyotes' last game was on Feb. 7 against Bethany College, which Kansas Wesleyan won 82-60.
The Saint Mary men's basketball team is 13-11 overall so far this season, with a 9-9 mark in conference play. The Spires currently sit at No. 7 in the KCAC Men's Basketball standings. Saint Mary has also won two games in a row and will be looking to extend their winning streak. The Spires' last game was on Saturday against Friends University in Wichita, which Saint Mary narrowly won by a score of 63-62.
The Coyotes and Spires faced off against one another on Dec. 9 in Salina, with Kansas Wesleyan winning that game 71-64.
