WICHITA, Kan. — Timothy Braun of Olivet Nazarene University and Mya Nemechek of Midland University were named the KCAC Men's and Women's Swimmers of the Month, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. Both student-athletes were selected for their performances from Nov. 6-Dec. 9 by a vote of conference Sports Information Directors. All KCAC Player of the Week and Swimmer of the Month honors are presented by
Equity Bank.

Braun hit the NAIA "B" cut in all six of his individual events this month while making the A finals in five of those six events and being a part of multiple ONU relays. His time of 49.79 in the 100-yard butterfly currently ranks 12th in the NAIA.

Nemechek achieved the NAIA "B" Cut in three events at the Warrior Invitational in early December. Nemechek's 50 Yard Freestyle time from the Warrior Invitational ranks 16th in NAIA.
