WICHITA, Kan. — Evangel University earned the top spot in the 2025 KCAC Softball Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference office announced Friday. The Valor took home 12 (out of a possible 13) first-place votes. In the 2024 season, Evangel took home the KCAC regular-season title with a 22-4 record in conference play, and then went on to also earn the KCAC Softball Championship Tournament title.
Rounding out the top five of the preseason poll were Friends University at No. 2 (receiving the final first-place vote), Avila University and Ottawa University tied at No. 3, and the University of Saint Mary at No. 5.
