KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Five teams from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) were recognized in the latest edition of the
STADIONIC NAIA Football Coaches' Poll, the national office announced Monday.
Three teams from the conference were ranked inside the Top 25. Friends University was the highest-ranked team from the conference, coming in at No. 8, which was one spot lower than their ranking in the previous edition of the poll. Last week's matchup between McPherson College and Evangel University certainly had an impact on the rankings, as McPherson jumped up three spots from their previous ranking to No. 15, while the Valor dropped seven spots down to No. 24.
Kansas Wesleyan University and Southwestern College were both in the "Receiving Votes" category, which both teams occupied in the previous poll.

TOP FIVE CAPSULES
1. Keiser (Fla.), 1-1
Keiser was idle last week but moved to No. 1 for the first time since Nov. 17, 2024. The Seahawks rank 10th in the NAIA in scoring defense, allowing 28 points through two games.
2. Montana Tech, 4-0
Montana Tech remained unbeaten with a 58-10 win over Southern Oregon and is allowing just 7.8 points per game. Levi Torgerson leads the NAIA with 36 receptions.
3. College of Idaho (3-0)
College of Idaho rolled past Montana State-Northern, 59-14, and ranks third in the NAIA at 53.0 points per game. The Yotes are also seventh in scoring defense at 11.3 points allowed per game.
4. Indiana Wesleyan, 4-0
Indiana Wesleyan’s Ryan Whitwell leads the NAIA in rushing yards (713), rushing touchdowns (10), all-purpose yards (733) and individual scoring (66 points). The Wildcats improved to 4-0 with a 59-17 win over Saint Xavier.
5. Benedictine (Kan.), 3-1
Benedictine jumped four spots after handing Grand View its first regular-season loss in nearly eight seasons, 21-17. The Ravens were also the last team to beat the Vikings in the regular season, winning 25-13 in Des Moines on Nov. 3, 2018.
