KANSAS — Tiyna Ridge and Aaliyah Ramirez, both of Friends University, have earned the KCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 30-April 5 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Tiyna Ridge - Friends University
Jr. | Edmond, Okla.
Ridge hit two more NAIA qualifying marks this past week at the Friends Spring Invite, highlighted by a school record and NAIA "A" Standard in the Women's 200 Meter event. Her time of 23.75 is a KCAC and school record, while ranking as the third-best time in the NAIA this season. She also anchored the Falcons in the 4x100m relay for a time of 47.24 that hit the NAIA "B" standard and ranks third in the KCAC and 17th in the NAIA this season.

Aaliyah Ramirez - Friends University
Sr. | Rockwall, Texas
Ramirez hit the NAIA "A" Standard in the Women's Pole Vault at this past week's Friends Spring Invite with a mark of 3.78m that is a PR and also both a school and KCAC record. The jump is also fifth best in the NAIA this season.
