KANSAS — JayOnna Perry of Ottawa University and Belle Barnett of Sterling College have earned the KCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 16-22 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Perry had a great outdoor opening weekend at the Spire Team Challenge. She broke school records in the 100M Hurdles (14.03), 400M Hurdles (1:00.44), and the 4x100M Relay (46.04) and won first in all three events. She qualified for nationals at the NAIA "B" qualifying standard in the 100M Hurdles and the "A" standard in the 400M Hurdles and the 4x100M Relay team.

Belle Barnett - Sterling College

Barnett continues to reach new heights in her freshman season, debuting her outdoor season with an NAIA "A" qualifying standard clearance of 1.70m (5-7) to win the high jump at the Spire Team Challenge on Saturday, March 21.
