KANSAS — Jenna Ormiston of Friends University and Raegan Rector of Oklahoma Wesleyan University have earned the KCAC Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from April 6-12 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Athletic Solutions.
Pitcher of the Week
Jenna Ormiston - Friends University
Jr. | P | Liberal, Kan.
Ormiston threw a complete game with 6.0 innings in a tough loss at Bethel, before delivering another complete game with 7.0 innings and five strikeouts in a home win over Kansas Wesleyan on April 9th. She is fifth in the KCAC in wins (11) this season and has struck out 64 batters with a 3.34 ERA this season.

Rector provided offensive firepower for Oklahoma Wesleyan, as the Eagles went 5-1 a week ago. She went 10-15 (a .667 average) with six doubles, one home run, scored eight runs, and had 11 RBIs. She also stole two bases. On the week, she had an OBP of .727 and a slugging percentage of 12.67.
