KANSAS — Madi Bentley of No. 14 Evangel University and Maria Fory of (RV) Oklahoma Wesleyan University have earned the KCAC Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 16-22 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Athletic Solutions.

Bentley had an exceptional week in the circle for Evangel, going 2-0 with a pair of shutouts against conference opponents, just one week removed from throwing a no-hitter against Tabor. The senior allowed just five hits last week, including a one-hit performance on senior day against Kansas Wesleyan.

Fory was a standout performer for Oklahoma Wesleyan last week, as the Eagles went 3-1 in conference play. She had a batting average of .611 (11 of 18 from the plate), with five of those hits going for extra bases (four doubles, one triple). She accounted for eight runs batted in, and only struck out twice. She also excelled in her spot in the outfield, accounting for a .875 fielding percentage on the week.
