KANSAS — Ashton Luera of No. 12 Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Logan Arndt of (RV) Kansas Wesleyan University have earned the KCAC Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Feb. 9-15 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Luera pitched a stellar five innings in the Eagles' 3-0 victory over Bethany, allowing zero hits and striking out 11. This marks the third consecutive week in which Luera has been named the KCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Logan Arndt - (RV) Kansas Wesleyan University

It was a big week for Logan Arndt, who landed into the lineup this week. He had an impact in all five games, none moreso than in the USW series, where he had four hits, which were all home runs, and drove in 12 runs. He kept the streak going against Evangel, getting a hit in all three games. On the week, he hit .563 with a 1.375 SLG.
