KANSAS — Samantha Jones of Friends University and Hayden Clark of Southwestern College have earned this week's KCAC Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Sept. 15-21 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Equity Bank.

Defender Samantha Jones impacted both ends of the Friends University Falcons' 2-1 victory over Kansas Wesleyan University, providing the Falcons' second goal that proved to be the game-winner in the 67th minute of the match. Jones now has one goal to go along with one assist on the season.

Defensive Player of the Week
Hayden Clark - Southwestern College

Clark stood tall in net this week with a commanding performance between the posts. Playing all 90 minutes in her lone start, Clark turned away every challenge she faced, recording 10 saves and finishing with a perfect 1.000 save percentage. The freshman goalkeeper posted a 0.00 goals-against average and anchored the defense with poise and consistency, keeping the opponent off the board in a hard-fought match. Her effort highlighted her reliability and ability to rise to the occasion under pressure.
