WICHITA, Kan. — Carly Holadia of the University of Saint Mary and Maddy Wolf of Kansas Wesleyan University have earned the KCAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from April 7-13 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.
Track Athlete of the Week
Carly Holadia - University of Saint Mary
Jr. | Orlando, Fla.
Holadia finished in 5th in the 800 Meters at the KT Woodman Classic, hitting the NAIA "B" Standard in the event, as well as setting a school record. Her time ranks first in the KCAC and 11th in the NAIA.
Field Athlete of the Week
Maddy Wolf - Kansas Wesleyan University
Fr. | Olathe, Kan.
Wolf finished fourth in the javelin at the KT Woodman Classic in a competitive field. Her throw of 44.04 meters currently has her ranked third in the NAIA and was a NAIA "A" Standard. This is the second farthest throw in KWU school history.
