Oklahoma Wesleyan Ranked No. 1 in 2026 KCAC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll

KANSAS — Oklahoma Wesleyan University was ranked No. 1 in the 2026 KCAC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference office announced Friday. The Eagles tallied 169 total points and 13 of 14 first-place votes.

In the 2025 season, Oklahoma Wesleyan went 13-0 in conference play, securing the program's seventh consecutive KCAC regular-season title. The Eagles also secured their sixth KCAC Women's Soccer Championship tournament title in the last seven years. The 2025 OKWU women's soccer squad also hit a significant milestone for the program, making a run to the semifinals of the NAIA Women's Soccer Championship tournament semifinals for the first time ever.

Friends University was ranked No. 2 in the conference's preseason poll, with 157 total points and the one remaining first-place vote. The Falcons finished second in the regular-season standings in 2025, and pushed Oklahoma Wesleyan to the brink in the 2025 KCAC Women's Soccer Championship tournament final, with the Eagles winning on penalty kicks. Friends qualified for the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship tournament for the fifth time in the last seven seasons.

Rounding out the Top Five of the KCAC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll were Kansas Wesleyan University at No. 3 (131 total points), Tabor College at No. 4 (124 total points), and Evangel University at No. 5 (113 total points).
