SALINA, Kan. – Phil McClintock has been selected as the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association (KBCA) Four-Year Men's College Coach of the Year, the organization recently announced. McClintock was officially presented the award last Saturday (June 20) at the Boys All-Star game on the campus of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kan.
This past season, McClintock guided the Falcons to their second straight NAIA Opening Round appearance and a 26-7 record, the program's most wins since the 2013-14 campaign.
Under McClintock, the Falcons posted consecutive runner-up finishes in the KCAC with identical 18-4 marks during each of the last two seasons.
The 2024-25 KCAC Coach of the Year, McClintock coached five All-KCAC players in 2025-26 while mentoring last year's KCAC Co-Player of the Year (KJ Spiller).
The Falcon soared as high as No. 14 in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' poll this season, the team's highest ranking since 2013-14.
