KANSAS — Davin Hinote of No. 17 Kansas Wesleyan University and Myles Vazquez of McPherson College have earned the KCAC Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 23-29 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Davin Hinote - #17 Kansas Wesleyan University
So. | RHP | Maize, Kan.
Hinote tossed a no-hitter against York on Tuesday in a mid-week conference contest. It is the first no-hitter for a KWU pitcher since 2014. He went the distance in the game which KWU won 12-0, issuing one walk and striking out five along the way.

Vazquez had an outstanding series against Southwestern, going 8-11 with two doubles, two home runs, and seven RBIs, as the Bulldogs picked up three wins with outstanding offensive performances in all three games.
