Clark and Norris Earn KCAC Baseball Weekly Honors

KANSAS — Raleigh Clark of Friends University and Easton Norris of Tabor College have earned the KCAC Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Feb. 16-22 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.
 
 

Pitcher of the Week

Raleigh Clark - Friends University

Jr. | LHP | Andrews, Texas

Clark was dominant in the Friends University Falcons' 7-0 series-opening victory over the York University Panthers on Saturday (Feb. 20), striking out a career-high 12 batters and walking just one over seven scoreless innings. Clark now has 20 strikeouts against only eight walks with a 5.12 ERA across 19.2 innings this season. Batters are hitting just .179 against Clark this season.

Player of the Week

Easton Norris - Tabor College

Jr. | OF | Wichita, Kan.

Norris had an outstanding week, batting .471 across four games this week and recording three RBIs, eight hits, and two homers as he helped the Bluejays earn four conference wins, including a series sweep over Southwestern. He also record a .625 on base percentage and a .824 slugging percentage, while stealing four bases and reaching the bases by way of walks seven times.
