2026 KCAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Selections Announced

KANSAS – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) is pleased to announce the 2026 KCAC Men's Soccer All-Conference teams and individual award winners, as voted on by the head men's soccer coaches.

Friends University took home the KCAC regular-season championship with a 12-1 record in conference play. This is the first regular-season championship for the Friends men's soccer program since 2006.

The Falcons' success is reflected in the individual awards that were awarded by the coaches for the 2026 season. Coach Bryan Perez was named Coach of the Year by his peers, and several Friends players took home honors as well. Diego Marin, who currently is in a tie for fourth place in goals scored (13) in the conference, was named KCAC Men's Soccer Freshman of the Year. His teammate Eduardo Gomez Montt, currently sitting in third in assists in the KCAC (nine), was awarded the KCAC Men's Soccer Newcomer of the Year honor. Finally, Andrea Xibilia of Friends split the KCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year honors with Santiago Mejia of Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

The remaining individual awards for the 2026 KCAC Men's Soccer season went to student-athletes from Ottawa University and Oklahoma Wesleyan University. The individual award honorees reflect the Top Three in the final KCAC Men's Soccer standings (Friends No. 1, Ottawa and Oklahoma Wesleyan tied for No. 2).

Cale Scott of Ottawa University received both the Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year honors from the conference's head coaches. Scott ranks first in the conference in total goals (24), total points (58), and points per game (3.05), and ranks second in the KCAC in assists (10). On the national level, Scott ranks second in the NAIA in goals scored and total points, and third in points per game.

Oklahoma Wesleyan's honorees included Santiago Mejia, splitting the Defensive Player of the Year honors with Andrea Xibilia of Friends, and Marko Rodic, who was named the KCAC Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Year.
