KANSAS — Austin Davies of Friends University and Xavier Ezell of the University of Saint Mary have earned this week's KCAC Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Oct. 12-18 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Davies recorded his third hat trick of the season to power the Friends University to a season-high nine goals in a resounding 9-0 victory over Bethel College Saturday night (Oct. 17). Davies also added an assist in the win over Bethel along with one goal and one assist in a 5-0 win over Avila on Wednesday (Oct. 14) to help the Falcons reach double-digit victories for the first time in five seasons. Davies leads the Falcons and is tied for second in the KCAC in both goals (12) and points (29) during his freshman season.

Ezell had another huge week for the Spires with a shutout against No. 16 Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and a near shutout (Saint Mary had an own goal) against York University. In total, he had 16 saves with a .941 save percentage on the week.
