KANSAS — Jalil Brown of McPherson College, Barrett Roads of No. 12 Friends University, and Jack Finder, also of McPherson, have earned this week's KCAC Football Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The three student-athletes were selected for their performances from Sept. 1-7 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Equity Bank.
Offensive Player of the Week
Jalil Brown - McPherson College
5-10 | 175 lbs. | R-Jr. | RB | Seagoville, Texas
Brown not only ran for 132 yards and had a touchdown with a long run of 50 yards, but every time he caught the ball on Saturday, he struck gold. He averaged 27 yards per reception, and would rack up 108 receiving yards and put up a touchdown in McPherson's win over Bethel.

Barrett Roads - No. 12 Friends University

Roads recorded two of the Falcons' eight sacks of a dominating 62-7 victory at Avila University on Saturday (Sept. 6). Roads also three tackles, with two solo stops for a defensive unit that pitched a shutout for the final 58 minutes.

Finder would have yet another great game, capitalizing on his game from last week. Finder would go 1/1 on FGs, with a long of 40 yards, and go 4/4 on PATs. In addition, Finder averaged 43.8 yards per punt on 4 attempts with a long of 49 yards, with on landing inside the 20, providing the McPherson defense with advantageous field position. He also averaged 59 yards on kickoffs (consistently to the 6-yard line) and put up two touchbacks.
