Gee, Grant, and Holthaus Earn KCAC Men's Wrestling Postseason Honors

WICHITA, Kan. — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) is proud to announce the honorees of the conference's two postseason men's wrestling honors. Brody Gee of the University of Saint Mary has been named the 2024-25 KCAC Men's Wrestler of the Year, while Ernest Grant of York University and Benedict Holthaus of Friends University were named co-honorees of the 2024-25 KCAC Men's Wrestling Newcomer of the Year Award.

Gee won the 125 lb. weight class at the 2025 KCAC Men's Wrestling Championship. At the 2025 NAIA Men's Wrestling Championship, Gee finished third in the 125 lb. weight class, securing All-American honors. He went 42-9 on the season, for a winning percentage of 82%, with eight dual wins. Gee recorded 25 falls and seven techincal falls.

Grant finished second in the 125 lb. weight class at the 2025 KCAC Men's Wrestling Championship, falling to Gee in the final. At the NAIA Championship, Grant fell in his first round match, but then went 3-1 in consolation matches. On the season, Grant went 30-11 (73% winning percentage), with a 4-1 dual record. He recorded seven falls and 11 technical falls.

Holthaus took home the title in the 174 lb. weight class at this season's KCAC Men's Wrestling Championship. Holthaus went 1-2 overall at the NAIA Men's Wrestling Championship. He accumulated a 30-9 record overall (winning percentage of 76.9%) on the season, with a mark of 12-1 in duals. Holthaus recorded 12 falls and 12 technical falls.
