WICHITA, Kan. — Shaw Lee of (RV) Kansas Wesleyan University and Marcus Patton of McPherson College have earned the KCAC Baseball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from April 21-27 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Lee had an incredible performance in KWU's 4-0 win over Avila. He took a no-hitter into the seventh inning of the 7-inning game. The hit in the seventh was only the second base runner of the day for Avila, and the first since the first inning. He retired a string of 18 consecutive batters in the game.

Patton continued his hot streak this week, batting .429 with 10 RBIs, two home runs, one double and one triple. Patton also walked twice, and finished with a slugging percentage of 1.071.
