WICHITA, Kan. — Madysen Carrera and Cynthia Homs, both of Ottawa University, have earned the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from April 14-20 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

In OU's 40-26 win over Kansas Wesleyan last week, Carrera was 31-for-34 for 290 yards and five touchdowns. She completed 91 percent of her passes. This marks the second time this season Carrera has been named the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive Player of the Week.
