WICHITA, Kan. — Chihiro Iwata of Kansas Wesleyan University and Dejonice Parris of Ottawa University have earned the KCAC Women's Flag Football Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from March 3-9 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Equity Bank.

In three games, Iwata was again stellar leading the KWU offense. She completed 75 percent of her passes, throwing for 777 yards and 14 touchdowns. She did all of this without playing a complete game in any of the three contests. She had 299 yards passing against Southwestern with five TDs, 302 yards against Pratt with five TDs, and 176 yards and four TDs against Cottey. She also added 59 yards rushing and two scores on the ground as well.
