WICHITA, Kan. — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) is proud to announce the 2025 KCAC Women's Tennis Preseason Team. All six student-athletes were selected to the team by a vote of the KCAC Women's Tennis Head Coaches.

Bethel College leads the way with two honorees on the Preseason Team, with Daniela Herrera and Daniela Casique representing the Threshers. Friends University, the University of Saint Mary, McPherson College, and Oklahoma Wesleyan University each have one honoree, with Silva Avakian, Tracy Llamas, Alexa Garcia, and Rocio Espinal, respectively, representing those institutions. 

Avakian and Llamas both return in 2025 after being named to the All-KCAC First Team a season ago, with Avakian being named the KCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Year in 2024. Casique is back for Bethel after being named to the 2024 All-KCAC second team and earning the KCAC Women's Tennis Newcomer of the Year honor. While Hererra did not compete in tennis in the KCAC in 2024, she was selected as the KCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Year in 2023, and was also named to the all-conference first team that same season.
