Doennig and Gunn Earn KCAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors

KANSAS — Harrison Doennig of Evangel University and Korbin Gunn of McPherson College have earned the KCAC Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Nov. 24-30 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by Athletic Solutions.

 
 

Offensive Player of the Week

Harrison Doennig - Evangel University

6-7 | R-So. | F/C | Springfield, Mo.
 

Doennig had a career night in a win over Mission University at home on Tuesday, scoring 37 points, the most by an EU player since 2021. Harrison also pulled down seven rebounds while shooting 61.9 percent from the floor in a 101-85 win.

Defensive Player of the Week

Korbin Gunn - McPherson College

Gunn excelled on both ends of the court in the Bulldogs' win over Hesston College. In addition to his two steals and block on Tuesday, Gunn totaled 17 points and six rebounds (four on the defensive end). He would shoot 50% (6-12) from the floor and add four assists.
