Saint Mary Sweeps KCAC Men's Basketball Weekly Honors

KANSAS — Kaeden Bonner and Jordan Brown, both of (RV) University of Saint Mary, have earned the KCAC Men's Basketball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Oct. 27-Nov. 2 by a vote of conference sports information directors.

 
 

Offensive Player of the Week

Kaeden Bonner - (RV) University of Saint Mary

6-2 | Jr. | G | Topeka, Kan.
 

Bonner was huge this weekend with 16 points, four rebounds, and two assists to secure an upset over No. 4 Langston, who ended USM's season last year. He followed that up with a big-time performance against a very physical Georgia Gwinnett team with 32 points (8-9 shooting on 3PTs) and two assists.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jordan Brown - (RV) University of Saint Mary

Brown played his role on defense extremely well this weekend, with five rebounds (all on the defensive end) and two steals against Langston, and another eight defensive rebounds and four steals against Georgia Gwinnett.
