KANSAS — Destiny Jones of (RV) University of Saint Mary has been named the KCAC/Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week, the KCAC conference office announced Monday. Jones was selected for her performances from Oct. 27-Nov. 2 by a vote of the conferences' Sports Information Directors. The KCAC and Sooner merged to one national qualifying group in women's wrestling in 2025-26, and have chosen to honor one Women's Wrestler of the Week between the two conferences.

Jones had a great weekend, winning the 103-pound weight class at the Falcon Open in the Elite Division with a fall in 14 seconds (fastest fall of the tournament), a win by decision, and won her finals match with a pin in 1:16.
