Player of the Week
Brooke Belflower - (RV) Avila University
Sr. | UTL | Tunnel Hill, Ga.
Belflower had about as excellent of a week as possible for a player at any level of college softball, batting a stellar 10-for-11 with seven extra-base hits, nine runs driven in and seven runs scored. Her week includes two 4-for-4 performances; all four of her hits (three doubles and a homer) in game one against Tabor drove in runs. She also walked three times (against 0 strikeouts), stole three bases, and played error-free defense at first base. Avila went 4-0 this week. The Eagles are now 8-0 to begin KCAC play, and are receiving votes in the NAIA rankings for the first time this season.
