WICHITA, Kan. — Ted Okoroh of Evangel University and Marcelo Fuentes of Sterling College have earned this week's KCAC Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Aug. 21-27 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Equity Bank.

Okoroh helped open Evangel's soccer season with a bang, scoring a hat trick against UHSP and also recording two assists in the process, finishing with eight points in the 5-0 victory over the Eutectics.

Fuentes played a great game in a 1-0 loss. He gave up just the one goal and had 9 saves. More impressive were the 2 PK saves that he had. The first was in the sixth minute, and the second was later in the game and would've put the game out of reach for the Warriors.
