Six KCAC Student-Athletes Named to NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Teams

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Six student-athletes from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) were recognized on one of the three NAIA Men's Soccer All-America teams, the national office announced Monday. The NAIA All-America committee consists of the NAIA-Men's Soccer Coaches Association Executive Committee, and four men's soccer coaches representing different regions of the association.

Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Ottawa University each saw three players earn All-America honors. All six had previously been named to the KCAC Men's Soccer All-Conference First Team.

For OKWU, Luis Vergara and Biel Campo both secured spots on the All-America First Team, while Tylor Guerrero was named to the All-America Second Team. In November, Vergara was named the KCAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, and Campo earned three KCAC individual awards, being named the KCAC Men's Soccer Most Valuable Player, Offensive Player of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year.

Ottawa's honorees consisted of Alonso Basauri, Antonio Natalucci, and Felipe Padierna. Basauri earned First Team All-America honors, while Natalucci was named to the Second Team, and Padierna earned a spot on the Third Team. On the conference level, Natalucci had been named this season's KCAC Men's Soccer Freshman of the Year.

Kevin Ventura of Grand View (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Men's Soccer Player of the Year. The graduate defender concluded the 2025 campaign with five goals after managing 37 shots, 17 of them on frame. He aided the Vikings to their first-ever Red Banner for men's soccer, after coming into the championship tournament unseeded.

Bethel (Ind.) and Life (Ga.) pace the list with four award winners apiece, followed by six institutions with three honorees each, including Oklahoma Wesleyan, Grand View (Iowa), Ottawa (Kan.), William Carey (Miss.), Indiana Tech, and Cumberlands (Ky.).

The 2025 Select Sport America-NAIA Men's Soccer National Coach of the Year will be announced on January 15
