WICHITA, Kan. — Radaisy Valdez of No. 22 Ottawa University, Cynarah Rodriguez of McPherson College, and Darla Crow of Bethel College have earned this week's KCAC Attacker, Setter, and Defender of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The three student-athletes were selected for their performances from Aug. 21-27 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by
Equity Bank.
Attacker of the Week
Radaisy Valdez - #22 Ottawa University
6-5 | Jr. | MB | Bani, Domincan Republic
In five matches this past week, including three against NAIA Top 25 Teams, Valdez had 70 kills, four service aces, nine digs, and 20 blocks. She averaged 3.89 kills per set and 14 kills per match. Valdez had 16 kills (.583) in the 3-0 win over No. 11 MidAmerica Nazarene. She had 22 kills (.432) in a 3-2 victory over No. 19 Central Methodist.

Rodriguez's solid week helped the Bulldogs, who ran a 6-2 offense, finish the week with a 2-1 record. Rodriguez finished with 18 assists in a 3-0 sweep over St. Ambrose. She followed that with a season-high 42 assists in a five-set thriller over Morningside. Rodriguez then recorded 28 assists against sixth-ranked Park University. Rodriguez is now fourth in the KCAC with 6.93 assists per set.

Crow led the Thresher defense tallying 28 blocks over Bethel's four games at the Hastings Classic. Crow's highest block total came in their 3-1 loss to #18 College of Saint Mary when she totaled 10 blocks. Darla turned in 10 solo blocks and 18 block assists over the four-game span for an average of 1.87 block per set.
