KANSAS — Brian Fackert of McPherson College and Lexi Patterson of Friends University were named the KCAC Cross Country Men's and Women's Runners of the Week, respectively, the conference office announced Tuesday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Aug. 31-Sept. 6 by a vote of conference sports information directors. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented by

Brian Fackert - McPherson College
Jr. | Woodland, Calif.
Fackert was the highest finishing KCAC and NAIA male runner at the JK Gold Classic, hosted by Wichita State. His time of 19:26 in the 6K was good enough for 12th and bested the next closest KCAC runner by 14 seconds.
Lexi Patterson - Friends University
So. | McPherson, Kan.
Patterson led the Falcons and was the highest finishing NAIA runner with a 26th place finish at the Wichita State JK Gold Classic. Patterson bested multiple NCAA Div. II runners with a time of 20:38.9.
