Oklahoma Wesleyan No. 1 in 2026 KCAC Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll

KANSAS — Oklahoma Wesleyan University took home the No. 1 spot in the 2026 KCAC Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference office announced Friday. Ballots were received from 13 of the conference's 14 head coaches. The Eagles tallied 156 total points and 12 first-place votes.

In 2025, Oklahoma Wesleyan secured the program's seventh consecutive KCAC regular-season title and sixth consecutive KCAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament title. The Eagles advanced to the Round of 16 at the NAIA Men's Soccer Championship Tournament final site in Orange Beach, Ala., before falling to William Penn University (Iowa).

Ottawa University was ranked No. 2 in the conference's preseason poll, with 143 total points and the one remaining first-place vote. The Braves finished No. 2 in the regular-season standings in 2025, made it to the KCAC Men's Soccer Championship tournament final before falling to the Eagles, and joined Oklahoma Wesleyan at the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship final site. Ottawa was also eliminated in the Round of 16, to West Virginia University Institute of Technology (also known as WVU Tech). 

Rounding out the Top Five of the KCAC Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll were York University at No. 3 (119 total points), Kansas Wesleyan University at No. 4 (114 total points), and Southwestern College at No. 5 (106 total points).
