McPherson Earns Top Spot in 2026 KCAC Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll

KANSAS — The Bulldogs of McPherson College earned the No. 1 spot in the 2026 KCAC Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference office announced Friday. McPherson secured 167 total points and 11 of 14 first-place votes.

McPherson enters the 2026 season coming off of one of the most successful seasons in program history. The Bulldogs went 34-3 overall, and 13-0 in conference play, taking home the KCAC regular-season title. McPherson then made a run all the way to the quarterfinals at the NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship final site in Sioux City, Iowa, before falling to No. 1 Seed Eastern Oregon University.

Oklahoma Wesleyan University earned the No. 2 spot in the preseason coaches' poll, with 156 total points and the three remaining first-place votes. The Eagles secured their third consecutive KCAC Women's Volleyball Championship tournament title in 2025, and advanced to the Pool Play round at the national championship final site.

Rounding out the Top Five of the KCAC Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll were Bethel College at No. 3 (140 total points), Evangel University at No. 4 (136 total points), and the University of Saint Mary (114 total points).
