KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Four student-athletes from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) earned spots on the NAIA Men's Tennis All-America Third Team, the national office announced on May 21. Those four honorees were Arthur Nardy of McPherson College, Roman Gonzales-Leeks of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and Jorge Batista and Petr Kollar, both of Bethel College.
All four of these All-Americans were first team All-KCAC honorees when the conference announced its awards for the 2025-26 season. Nardy and Gonzales-Leeks also took home individual conference-level honors this year, with Nardy being named both the KCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year and the KCAC Men's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and Gonzales-Leeks earning the KCAC Men's Tennis Newcomer of the Year honor.
Batista and Kollar were on a Bethel team that secured both the regular-season and conference tournament championships this year.
Honorees were selected by the NAIA All-America Selection Committee. Sixteen student-athletes were chosen to comprise the first and second teams. The third team is made up of 18 student-athletes.
Georgia Gwinnett swept the national individual honors, with senior Luis Francisco Sampedro of Palma de Mallorca, Spain receiving the NAIA Ward-Bollinger Outstanding Player award, while Tom Rees was named NAIA Men's Tennis National Coach of the Year.
